If you have a hernia, the best way to apply a support belt is using a wall – stand technique.
First push your back to the wall, slide your back down a little bit and then put on the belt. Using 2 fingers above and 2 fingers below, give yourself a hug.
When you stand, adjust for the hernia. Pull up the hernia and pull down the belt under the hernia for better comfort.
