About Omnigon

History

Omnigon, an Australian ostomy company, was established in 1996 for the sole purpose of offering stoma therapy nurses and ostomates a wider choice of modern appliances. We immediately set about obtaining the best ostomy and wound care appliances available in the world for the Australian and New Zealand ostomates and are continuing to do so today.

We have exclusive marketing agreements for the South Pacific from our three major suppliers :

  • B Braun Inc - developer of the first two piece lock-ring system;
  • Welland Medical Ltd, the winner of the Millennium Prize for the first flushable, biodegradable pouch; and
  • TG Eakin Ltd, developer and manufacturer of the much-lauded Eakin Seals.

All our suppliers have very active Research and Development departments with a long term innovative new product roll-out plan.

Not only are we recognised in Australia and New Zealand as the leading Support Garment authority with the widest range of products available but these, in main, locally made garments are also exported into Europe with significant success making Omnigon the first Australian ostomy company to manufacture appliances and export them overseas.

At Omnigon an extensively trained sales & customer service staff is at your service plus three active directors with a combined ostomy & wound care experience of 70 years.
